  1. What Kind of art do you sell?

    We sell original pieces, limited edition giclée prints and posters. All the pieces you see on this site are the result of a combination of muses that includes poetry, mysticism, mathematics, music, theology, quantum physics, sacred geometry, philosophy and visual arts.   2. What is a giclée?

    Giclée (pronounced "zhee-clay") is a French word meaning "a spraying of ink.” With the advent of giclée, the art of reproducing fine art has become even more precise. Giclées have the highest apparent resolution available today -- as high as 1,800 dots per inch. In addition, since no screens are used, the prints have a higher apparent resolution than lithographs and a color range that exceeds that of serigraphy. Displaying a full color spectrum, giclée prints capture every nuance of an original and have gained wide acceptance from artists and galleries throughout the world.

    The patented printing technology utilizes microscopically fine droplets of ink to form the image. A print can consist of nearly 20 billion ink droplets. The microscopic droplets of ink vary in sizes (approximately the size of a red blood cell) and density. This unique patented feature produces a near continuous tone image, smoother gradation between tones, and a more finely differentiated color palette.

  3. Do you have any retail locations?

    No. We do not operate any retail locations. All of our services are provided through our web site and our central order processing facility. As you may know, art galleries take a 50% commission on all sales, this means the buyer ends up paying double of what the artist requested for any given piece. Our direct-with-the-costumer approach ensures we can provide you with high quality artwork at a reasonable price.

  4. Does the image on your site accurately represent what I will be sent?

    We strive for a high degree of image accuracy. However, you should be aware that color representation varies depending on the system and browser being used. Also, monitors rely on the RGB additive model to render color, while physical pieces rely on a pigment-based subtractive model. The possible minor variations are negligible and almost never an issue, but if you are not completely satisfied with your piece, please make use of our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee.

  5. How accurate are the item dimensions listed on your site?

    Piece dimensions are 100% accurate. Canvases are produced taking in consideration a suggested stretcher. The final printed canvas will result from the piece’s frontal dimensions plus an additional border that includes the suggested stretcher's depth and some extra printed material. This means that your framer of choice will have a large enough printed surface to produce a perfectly wrapped piece. All canvases come with stretcher-positioning marks to make the mounting process a breeze.

  6. How do you determine the dimensions of a multi-element piece?

    Multi-element pieces include two or more stretched canvases. When it comes to modular pieces, the size that we provide through our website is the sum of all the elements without any space between them. For example, a triptych consisting of three identical 20” x 20” elements will appear as a 20” x 60” piece. That said, considering that multi-element pieces look better with space between elements, the same piece could cover an area of 20” x 80” when a 10” space between elements is used.

  7. Should I frame my stretched canvas?

    Once the canvas has been stretched you will have a beautifully wrapped piece that stands on its own. The look is clean and contemporary and no glass or matting will be required. Stretched pieces will look great without any additional framing. Still, it is all a matter of taste and preference. If you wish to frame your artwork, we suggest you consult with your trusted framer of choice.

  8. Do you offer mounting and framing services?

    No. With the exception of originals, we do not offer mounting and framing services. The reason for this is that we would charge the same as your local framer, but the shipping costs and likelihood of your piece being damaged during transit would increase considerably.

    Pieces are carefully rolled in a protective tube and arrive to you ready to be mounted or framed. Limited edition giclées arrive with a mounting suggestion sheet and feature an additional border of printed material for stretching and framing purposes. Also, they come with stretcher-positioning marks to make the mounting process a breeze.

  9. How is my order packaged?

    The quality of your shipment is our priority and the materials we use to package our products reflect our commitment.

    Pieces are carefully rolled with protective wrapping paper and packaged in a hard cardboard tube. Limited edition giclées arrive with a document of authenticity and a mounting suggestion sheet.

    Original pieces are securely packaged in a sturdy box with fitted inserts to prevent shaking and damage.

  10. How will my package be shipped?

    All items are carefully packaged to prevent damage during transit. We ship with a variety of carriers to provide the best service and lowest cost for our customers. When your order has been shipped you will be notified via email and the carrier’s name and tracking number will be provided.

    Note that orders are shipped/delivered only Monday to Friday. Delivery estimates do not include weekends.

  11. Can you ship to a P.O. box, APO or FPO address?

    No. Unfortunately we do not ship to P.O. boxes or to APO/FPO addresses at this time. Please note that if you do place an order to a P.O. box or APO/FPO address we will not process it until you provide us with an alternative street address. Note also that for items shipped to a street address, a phone number is required.

  12. Can you ship my items somewhere other than to my billing address?

    Yes. During the checkout process, you are provided the option to enter a shipping address that is different than the billing address. Just un-check the box that reads “Ship items to the above billing address” and proceed to enter the desired shipping address.

  13. How long will it take to receive my artwork?

    Originals and limited editions are usually shipped 5 to 10 days after the moment you place your order. Posters are usually shipped 24 hours after the moment you place your order.

    Transit times vary based upon where you live and the shipping method used. Delivery time averages 3 to 10 business days once your item(s) leave our facility. Note that orders are shipped/delivered only Monday to Friday. Delivery estimates do not include weekends. If you provide a valid email address when ordering, a notification will be sent when the shipment occurs. The email will include a link to the carrier's web site where you can track the progress of your shipment online.

  14. Do you ship outside the U.S. and Canada?

    Yes, we ship anywhere in the World. International transit times vary based upon where you live, the shipping method used and your country’s customs office. Please be aware that we are not responsible for any duties or value-added taxes that may be assessed by your local customs authorities. We have no control over this, and have no way of determining what your duties and taxes may amount to. We encourage you to contact your local postal service or customs bureau for more specific information.

    Note that International orders shipped with Standard delivery cannot be tracked and may take up to 20 business days to deliver.

  15. What is your return policy?

    At Toporek we want you to purchase your artwork knowing you will be fully satisfied. We believe in providing the best customer experience by offering high quality artwork and a worry-free guarantee.

    If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it within 10 days of receipt and receive a free replacement or a full refund for the price of the product.

    Please return the art piece in its original condition to the sender’s address.

    We strongly encourage you to return your item via a trackable method.

    To help us serve you better, we would appreciate if you could specify the reason for the return. Also, let us know what action you would like us to take: Free Replacement or Refund.

    If you decide to have your art piece replaced, you will receive your new piece within 20 days from the date on which we receive the returned item. If you request a refund, the transaction will take place within 48 hours from the date on which we receive the returned item.

    Shipping and handling costs are non-refundable.
